REXwireless provides highlights of what has changed in recent releases below. Only significant releases are shown here. Minor point releases may be offered from time to time to correct small items when necessary. It is always recommended to upgrade to the newest release, especially if you are having any issues.

1) Implemented 4 user reconfigurable dimensions (Please read our ToDoMatrix white paper to understand the implementation and capability of dimensions) (See Profile/Preferences screen to configure).

2) Added multi-variable Filter Subsystem. (Available on summary screen menu and 'K' hotkey)

3) Added Quick Review Wizard. (Available on cabinet tree menu, summary screen menu and 'N' hotkey)

4) Improved drag-drop with independent drag indexes for most drawers, folders and views.

5) Redesigned count system with open/total counts for nearly all folders, drawers and views.

1) Added support for the BlackBerry O/S 4.2.1 installed on the BlackBerry 8700 devices.

2) Added improvements for devices without valid e-mail pre-configuration.

3) Fixed bug in Alert Screen painting that adversely impacted SureType BlackBerry devices in the 2007.03.23 release levels.

4) Minor improvements to the Backup to Web / Restore from Web screen logic.

1) Added support for enhanced REXwireless recommended fonts and user selectable fonts

2) Added profile options for show/hide delegate fields, show/hide hotkeys.

3) Changed backup verification frequency with user selectable choices - especially helpful for people that are on limited data bandwidth plans.

4) Added folder name to top of Summary and Detail View-Folder screens when in a non-native View or Delegate folders.

5) Fixed duplicating BlackBerry application injection menu entries bug on exit / re-launch of applications.

6) Added delete-todo to the Alert Pop-up screen to allow instant deletion of an item if desired.

7) On Cabinet View, made ENTER expand a drawer on first click if collapsed. ENTER on an expanded drawer will perform a View drawer as found in previous releases.

8) Added user selectable e-mail preference for BlackBerry users with multiple e-mail addresses configured on initial load / re-load of the user's database.

9) Added [J]ump hot*key and menu support to summary and detail screens. Previously, jump feature was only available in the Cabinet screen.

10) Adjusted jump list to allow jumping to any type of folder (now includes hyper-jump capability to Views and Delegates).

11) Added quick 'create' capability to all non-native folders (for example Views / Folder) by invoking hyper-jump folder-picker screen prior to creation of a note.

12) Created e-mail logic to use the correct "Send Using" account for outbound e-mails instead of BlackBerry default e-mail only.

13) Added BlackBerry OS / API availability checking logic to ensure that required native task and memopad applications are installed on the unit during boot-up. BlackBerry requires that these applications remain installed or certain API's needed by the Injector functionality cease working.

Client Release Level 2007.01.25.4x

1) Added System Integration Injection subsystem, which offers the ability to inject tasks or notes from seven interfaces to standard BlackBerry applications, including BlackBerry e-mail, phone log, calendar, task applet, memopad, browser, and address book.

2) Enhanced the ability of direct actions from our applications, including telephone dialing, sending and e-mail, and browsing directly to a web URL.

3) Add page up and page down capability to the view screen - previous functionality was adversely impacted by the new Injection system.

4) Fixed drawer and folder rename issue where renamed drawers or folders would not be updated correctly in the move to drawer / move to folder routines.

5) Added enhancements to REXdesktop to support Adobe formatted reports for printing
or e-mail delivery.

6) Enhanced trackball functionality for the BlackBerry 8100 Pearl smartphone.

7) Added corrections to better support double-byte encoding of certain characters (primarily Chinese characters).

8) Made numerous adjustments for better Sync with REXdesktop.

9) Enhanced the ability of ideaMatrix to remember its cursor position when switching from viewing a note to editing the same note - especially useful for long notes.

10) Fixed miscellaneous issues with alerts.

11) Corrected a rarely occurring hung underlying communications condition that was encountered if there was a certain communications error on the initial download of a new user start-up database.

12) Fixed screen repaint bug on certain up and down scrolls in a note.

13) Set Alert window default focus to Snooze instead of Dismiss.

14) Added Set Alert = Due Date and related commands on the menus and to REXdesktop.

15) Improved minor stability issues.
